Free or discounted options
1. Go to the library. Borrow a book, dvd or computer software. All for
free. Don't buy when you can borrow at absolutely NO cost!
2. Swap video games, board games, dvds or cds with family or friends. Set
a date and location for an entertainment swap. Decide whose house to
have the first swap at, then alternate for the next ones. Bring all the games,
dvds or music that you want to share. Use a return address label on all
your items so they get back to the right person. Set a date for returns,
maybe two weeks from swap party date. Enjoy all for FREE.
3. Instead of taking the kids to the newest movie at the theater, tell them
when it comes out on dvd you will rent it, make lots of popcorn and other
fun snacks and have a family movie night. Maybe even make a homemade
pizza. The kids will love it!

to save at least two bucks per ticket. Sign up for the movie theater's
rewards program to earn free tickets or concessions.

cities/towns have frequent free events throughout the year.

marshmallows and have a few smores. Great fun for the kids!
